Registration

We ask everyone who is new to Shinshin Toitsu Aikido to take our 4-week beginner’s course. This is a good way to look at what Shinshin Toitsu Aikido is all about and see if it is right for you.

Who May Join?

We are currently accepting students who are 13 years (junior high) or older. If you are under 18, you must obtain a signature from your parent/guardian on our release of liability form.

We are a very small dojo and we do not currently offer children’s classes or individual lessons.

What Should I Wear?

Aikido techniques involve grabbing the wrists, arms, and shoulders, as well as some kneeling and rolling on the mat. Loose-fitting, durable shirts and sweat pants, or white (bleached or unbleached) judo/karate dogi are recommended. Shorts are not recommended as we perform exercises on our knees.

How To Register?

  1. Register your interest in the next Beginners Course by clicking the Join Us tab of our website.
  2. Read and sign our release of liability form. You may upload an image, bring the form with you, or sign one at the dojo on the first day of class.
  3. Bring a one-time payment of $40.00 with you on the first day of the course. This will pay for the entire four-week introductory course.
  4. The first class is mandatory
